Guidance for Skilled Worker Visa Applications
For Individuals, Families & Dependants
BL Prime LTD specializes in guiding individuals and families through the UK Skilled Worker visa process. Whether you are applying from overseas or switching visas while in the UK, we help you understand eligibility criteria, documentation, and the overall process.
Our role is purely advisory — we do not provide sponsorship and are not affiliated with any sponsoring employers. However, we provide comprehensive guidance on document preparation, application review, and ensuring that your submission aligns with Home Office requirements.
From Overseas: You must apply for your Skilled Worker visa at a UK Visa Application Centre in your country of residence. You will need a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) from a licensed UK employer, proof of English proficiency, financial documentation, and all required certificates.
From Within the UK: You may be eligible to switch to a Skilled Worker visa if your current visa permits. This requires careful timing, ensuring that your application is submitted before your current visa expires, and that all eligibility conditions are met.
Skilled Worker visa holders can bring certain family members, including spouses or partners and children under 18, as dependants. Dependants must apply separately, but their applications are linked to the primary visa holder.
A valid Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) from a licensed UK employer is required. Verify the employer's COS license via the official government register: Check Licensed Sponsors.

Attend a visa application center for biometric submission. Ensure you carry all originals and follow official guidelines.
Track your application online, collect your visa, and plan your arrival in the UK. Dependants’ visas are issued in parallel with the primary visa holder.
